Cornell’s new equine initiative, Cornell Equine, was launched to the Cornell community on 13th November. Cornell Equine aims to bring together all equine activities at Cornell into one cohesive program that will allow the group to strengthen their community and foster new collaborations across Cornell's educational, clinical, student experience and research portfolios. At the completion of Zweig Research Day, Faculty and Zweig Committee members gathered for dinner where they brain-stormed ideas on the planned development of new programs and training opportunities that support equine-oriented students across the full lifespan of their careers with the ultimate goal being to make it desirable to not only pursue but also remain in equine-focused fields.
