Cornell Athletics provides opportunities in two different varsity level competitive Equine sports:

• The Women’s Equestrian team, which competes in IHSA Zone II Region I. 
• Men’s and Women’s Polo teams, which compete in the USPA Intercollegiate program. 

Varsity equine programs house their horses and compete out of the John T. Oxley Equestrian Center. In addition to varsity sports, Cornell has a Dressage Club team and a Western Equestrian Club team.
