Peter B. Orthwein '68 Head Coach of Polo

Coach Condo was named the Peter B. Orthwein ’68 Head Coach of Polo in September 2022, following a 13+ year career as a Volunteer Assistant Coach under the legendary Coach and arena polo player David Eldredge, ’81.  During his tenure as an Assistant, the men’s and women’s polo teams amassed a combined record of 382-125-1, including the capture of a total of 24 Northeastern Regional Championships, and four USPA National Intercollegiate Polo Championships (Men:  2005; Women:  2011, 2015, 2016).  In 2024, Condo led the men’s team to their first National Championship in 19 years as the 2024 USPA D2 National Champion.  In addition to his duties as Head Coach, Condo also serves as a clinician, certified game official, and tournament manager for the United States Polo Association
